Planer Mills

Modern high-speed planer mills ensure that all finished lumber dispatched from Kiwi Lumber is of an excellent finish and quality. Each of the three sawmills has its own planer mill and all sites operate Weinig planers. With the ability to adjust the finish on specific products, our planers finish a range of products from framing to high grade Clear boards.

These totally enclosed facilities ensure that the lumber is fully protected during the process and minimise defects and damage – ensuring that customers enjoy lumber with a better finish, and reducing rework later in their manufacturing cycle.
